Kingston vs Denver -which is better?

Alright, It's a a small town city with about 23,942 people. Average temperature is around 48--F, so expect cold winters. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Thoughts? The city has invested a lot in new development. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The city has invested a lot in new development. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The food scene here is surprisingly good.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is cultural scene. it's not perfect but it works for me. Worth doing your research before committing.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 3 years ago from LA and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Lakewood. It's average for what you get.

Jobs: The market is stable right now, especially in real estate. If you're in healthcare you might struggle.

People: Generally challenging. It took about 8 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: excellent. Tons of options if you like BBQ.

Hope this helps!.
