Kingston job market vs Portland

We're a young couple and Median household income is $70,532, which feels about average for the area. Poverty rate is 6.1%, which is pretty low. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Anyone in a similar situation? I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is weather. it's been a really good experience overall. Worth doing your research before committing.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want cost of living, then yeah this place is great. But if community vibe matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
