Best coffee shops in Kingstowne?

It's a a small town city with about 17,436 people. The unemployment rate is 2.0%, which is pretty low. You can expect to pay around $2,337 for rent here. Rent is about $2,337/month for a decent place. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Thoughts? TIA! There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The suburbs are where most families end up. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The city has invested a lot in new development. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

Bought a house here in 2023 and it exceeded my expectations. Property values have gone down slightly since then.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a software engineer who relocated here from New York about 15 years ago. The main reasons were family and quality of life.

Pros I've experienced:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Good internet infrastructure
- Four distinct seasons

Cons that are real:
- Limited high-paying job options
- Limited shopping options

Financially, we've found it better than expected compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are reasonable, gas is average.

Socially, I love the pace of life here. Definitely worth checking out..

I work in education here and I genuinely enjoy living here. The job market for my field is tough. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 1-bedroom. I'm still on the fence after all this time. Compared to Austin it's average.

The food scene here is solid. Tons of great Southern places. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad.

I've lived in Eastside for about 11 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I genuinely enjoy living here. When I first moved here from San Francisco, I was surprised by public transit. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Decent public transit for the size
- The traffic scene is pretty good

The downsides:
- Limited high-paying job options
- Dating scene is rough

Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for families. Good luck with whatever you decide..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want nightlife, then yeah this place is great. But if nightlife matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
