Hello, Average temperature is around 59--F, so the weather is moderate. You can expect to pay around $2,337 for rent here. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Am I overthinking this? Appreciate any input. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The city has invested a lot in new development.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.
If you value safety, you'll love it. The school system is genuinely challenging and I've found I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. My neighborhood (Fairview) is wild and I feel safe walking around at night.
But if you're coming from Miami, be prepared for the culture shock. dating scene is completely different here. And Not very walkable outside downtown.
My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I genuinely enjoy living here. Hope this helps!.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it's been a really good experience overall. Internet is surprisingly good in most areas.
