So, I grew up here but left for a while. Household incomes average around $150,114 in Kingstowne. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Should I be concerned?

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a project manager who relocated here from Chicago about 15 years ago. The main reasons were my partner's job and a job opportunity.
Pros I've experienced:
- Four distinct seasons
- Close to major attractions
- Strong sense of community
Cons that are real:
- Winters are long and cold
- Nightlife is limited
Financially, we've found it pretty good compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are growing, gas is surprisingly good.
Socially, I love the pace of life here. Happy to answer more specific questions..

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it was the best decision I ever made. Internet is pretty good in most areas.

I'm a data analyst and I've found it exceeded my expectations. The community is tough and there's always something going on.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a nurse who relocated here from Miami about 13 years ago. The main reasons were retirement and weather.
Pros I've experienced:
- Good healthcare facilities
- Strong job market in several industries
- Good internet infrastructure
Cons that are real:
- Limited high-paying job options
- Not a lot of cultural diversity
Financially, we've found it challenging compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are pricey, gas is solid.
Socially, it's not perfect but it works for me. Feel free to reach out with questions..
