Been meaning to ask this. Military spouse here. Average temperature is around 52--F, so expect cold winters. Crime rate is something to consider -Kirkland sits at 98.4 per 100K. You can expect to pay around $2,342 for rent here. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Thoughts? People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Property taxes are high but you get good services.
