Is Kissimmee worth it salary-wise?

So, I'm retired and Crime rate is something to consider -Kissimmee sits at 487.1 per 100K. It's a a smaller city city with about 79,504 people. You can expect to pay around $1,553 for rent here. Rent is about $1,553/month for a decent place. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The suburbs are where most families end up.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it was the best decision I ever made. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Used to live on the Cedar Grove side, now on the Sunset side. Completely different vibe. I have mixed feelings honestly.

Public transit is solid here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's exactly what I was looking for.
