I keep seeing people overlook Kissimmee when talking about great places to live. With a population of 79,504, it's big enough to have everything you need but small enough to feel like a community. Cost of living is reasonable for what you get. The weather is great — warm most of the year with an average of 74F.

Traffic is the worst part honestly. But if you live near work it's fine.

Moved here last year. No regrets. So many outdoor activities.

For families, I'd recommend looking at Highland Park. Schools are rated well and it's quiet.

Public transit needs work but they're investing in it. Should improve in next few years.

Coming from Boston, the cost of living difference is noticeable. Groceries and gas are about the same.

Check out the Old Town area. Way more affordable and still close to everything.

If you can afford it, University District is the best place to live. Period.

Coming from San Francisco, the cost of living difference is noticeable. Groceries and gas are slightly more expensive but housing makes up for it.

Don't sleep on Cedar Hills. It's up and coming and still affordable.

Can confirm the safety issue. But it really depends on the neighborhood. Northside and Riverside are perfectly safe.
