Honest thoughts on life in Kitsap Lake

Alright, My family moved here when I was a kid. Household incomes average around $90,156 in Kitsap Lake. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The suburbs are where most families end up. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a writer who relocated here from Houston about 4 years ago. The main reasons were work and a job opportunity.

Pros I've experienced:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Lots of new development happening
- Good airport with direct flights

Cons that are real:
- Not very walkable outside downtown
- Property taxes are high

Financially, we've found it better than expected compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are competitive, gas is underrated.

Socially, it's improved dramatically in recent years. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

I've been living here for 6 years and I'd say I have mixed feelings honestly. The dating scene is improving compared to other places I've lived. Overall Good luck with whatever you decide..

I work in hospitality here and I genuinely enjoy living here. The job market for my field is surprisingly good. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
