Best companies to work for in Knightdale?

Random thought, Rent is about $1,573/month for a decent place. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Thoughts?

Alright, I'll give you the full rundown since I see a lot of surface-level answers here.

I've been in The Heights for 9 years. Moved from Baltimore for a fresh start. Here's my honest, detailed take:

**Housing:**
The market right now is excellent. We bought in 2023 at k and it's now worth up a bit than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 1-bed in a safe area. The market is competitive but not impossible.

**Employment:**
legal is strong here. government is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are pricey for the area.

**Quality of Life:**
there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The outdoor scene is improving - we have state parks within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.

**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. The Heights schools are improving. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.

**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Road conditions need improvement. Bugs and humidity in summer. And housing market can be frustrating.

**Bottom line:**
For retirees, I'd say this is a 8/10. Would recommend to anyone considering it.. Feel free to ask specific questions - happy to help.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 10 years ago from Austin and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in South. It's challenging for what you get.

Jobs: The market is manageable right now, especially in manufacturing. If you're in tech you might struggle.

People: Generally better than expected. It took about 16 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: decent. Tons of options if you like Thai.

Hope this helps!.

I work in marketing here and it's exactly what I was looking for. The job market for my field is solid. No regrets on my end..
