Median household income is $50,994, which feels on the lower side for the area. Crime rate is something to consider — Knoxville sits at 667.3 per 100K. It's changing fast — some good, some not so much. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Am I overthinking this? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The city has invested a lot in new development.
