Most overrated things about Ko Olina

Hey folks, I grew up here but left for a while. With a population of 1,677, Ko Olina is a small town. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

Used to live on the East side, now on the The Heights side. Completely different vibe. it's not perfect but it works for me.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is housing market. it's been a really good experience overall. Worth doing your research before committing.
