Hi all, I've been here for 8 years and Crime rate is something to consider -Koloa sits at 232.1 per 100K. With a population of 2,327, Koloa is a small town. The suburbs are where most families end up. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Thoughts? Looking forward to hearing from you all. The weather takes some getting used to. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.
