Remote worker thinking about Kronenwetter

Hi all, With a population of 8,420, Kronenwetter is a small town. The median home value here is around $240,700, which is actually reasonable. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The city has invested a lot in new development. Am I overthinking this? People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The suburbs are where most families end up. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The suburbs are where most families end up. The suburbs are where most families end up. Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a software engineer who relocated here from Boston about 9 years ago. The main reasons were work and school.

Pros I've experienced:
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Good airport with direct flights
- Diverse dining options

Cons that are real:
- Bugs and humidity in summer
- Far from beaches/mountains

Financially, we've found it pretty good compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are established, gas is tough.

Socially, I genuinely enjoy living here. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
