Grocery stores in La Crescenta-Montrose -recommendations?
Hey, I'm a 49-year-old nurse and Median household income is $119,775, which feels pretty solid for the area. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Thanks for reading. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 5 years ago from Baltimore and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in South. It's improving for what you get.
Jobs: The market is developing right now, especially in hospitality. If you're in education you might struggle.
People: Generally tough. It took about 10 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: hit or miss. Tons of options if you like Vietnamese.

My experience has been mostly positive. I have mixed feelings honestly. The only thing I'd watch out for is cost of living. Other than that, Would recommend to anyone considering it..
