Alright, The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a social worker who relocated here from LA about 11 years ago. The main reasons were my partner's job and quality of life.
Pros I've experienced:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Strong job market in several industries
- Four distinct seasons
Cons that are real:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Homeless population growing downtown
Financially, we've found it better than expected compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are pricey, gas is challenging.
