Hey folks, I'm single, late 20s, and Median household income is $50,872, which feels on the lower side for the area. Poverty rate is 6.0%, which is pretty low. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The food scene here is surprisingly good.

My experience has been mostly positive. I love the pace of life here. The only thing I'd watch out for is public transit. Other than that, Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 8 years ago from San Diego and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in South. It's average for what you get.
Jobs: The market is manageable right now, especially in finance. If you're in manufacturing you might struggle.
People: Generally hit or miss. It took about 14 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: surprisingly good. Tons of options if you like Korean.
