Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm originally from Baltimore and Household incomes average around $53,803 in La Crosse. Median household income is $53,803, which feels on the lower side for the area. It's a a smaller city city with about 51,791 people. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The weather takes some getting used to. Would love some local perspective. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.
