Not sure if this has been asked before, but I've been here for 19 years and Household incomes average around $42,992 in La Feria. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Would love some local perspective. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The suburbs are where most families end up.

Came here for cost of living and stayed because I love the pace of life here. The cost of living is honestly solid and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want safety, then yeah this place is great. But if nightlife matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
