How is the nightlife in La Grange?

Random thought, I'm a remote worker and Household incomes average around $57,212 in La Grange. The unemployment rate is 2.9%, which is pretty low. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Would love some local perspective. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 15 years ago from Dallas and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Pine Hills. It's excellent for what you get.

Jobs: The market is established right now, especially in finance. If you're in real estate you might struggle.

People: Generally solid. It took about 5 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: improving. Tons of options if you like Vietnamese.

Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is traffic. it was the best decision I ever made. Worth doing your research before committing.
