It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The suburbs are where most families end up. The city has invested a lot in new development.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a marketing manager who relocated here from Pittsburgh about 12 years ago. The main reasons were school and retirement.
Pros I've experienced:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Good healthcare facilities
- Lots of family-friendly activities
Cons that are real:
- Urban sprawl is real
- Not a lot of cultural diversity
Financially, we've found it decent compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are stable, gas is challenging.
