Hi all, We have two kids and Average temperature is around 64--F, so the weather is moderate. Crime rate is something to consider -La Mesa sits at 290.7 per 100K. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Worth the trade-offs? I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.
