Dog-friendly places in La Quinta?

So, I'm originally from Omaha and Average temperature is around 76--F, so it's warm year-round. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Let me know your thoughts. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a real estate agent who relocated here from Austin about 5 years ago. The main reasons were work and my partner's job.

Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Four distinct seasons
- Strong sense of community

Cons that are real:
- Not a lot of cultural diversity
- Limited shopping options

Financially, we've found it excellent compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are developing, gas is pretty good.

Socially, the quality of life is solid. Hope this helps!.

We moved here with our family and it was the best decision I ever made. Schools in Riverside area are tough. Kids love it here.
