La Riviera housing prices -when will it stop?

So, Been living here since 2014. Average temperature is around 63--F, so the weather is moderate. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Has anyone dealt with this? Thanks for reading.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a real estate agent who relocated here from Boston about 9 years ago. The main reasons were family and school.

Pros I've experienced:
- Strong job market in several industries
- Active local events and festivals
- Four distinct seasons

Cons that are real:
- Limited public transit options
- Property taxes are high

Financially, we've found it underrated compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are established, gas is decent.

Socially, I'm still on the fence after all this time. Good luck with whatever you decide..
