Moving to La Vista for work -advice?

Hey folks, I've been here for 5 years and The median home value here is around $244,900, which is actually reasonable. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Thanks for reading.

Used to live on the Greenfield side, now on the Sunset side. Completely different vibe. it's not perfect but it works for me.

My experience has been mostly positive. I love the pace of life here. The only thing I'd watch out for is cost of living. Other than that, Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are pretty good, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

I've lived in Riverside for about 7 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I have mixed feelings honestly. When I first moved here from Chicago, I was surprised by cost of living. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Nice parks and green spaces
- The pet-friendliness scene is surprisingly good

The downsides:
- Road conditions need improvement
- Limited shopping options

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for singles. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
