Moving from San Francisco to Lacey next month

Anyone else feel this way? Born and raised here. With a population of 57,088, Lacey is a smaller city. Homes are going for about $427,900 on average. Average temperature is around 52--F, so expect cold winters. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. What neighborhoods would you suggest? People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The city has invested a lot in new development. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. My experience has been mostly positive. it was the best decision I ever made. The only thing I'd watch out for is public transit. Other than that, Feel free to reach out with questions..
