Anyone else love living in Laconia?
Been meaning to ask this. Am I wrong here? Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a project manager who relocated here from Miami about 3 years ago. The main reasons were work and school.
Pros I've experienced:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Strong sense of community
Cons that are real:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Dating scene is rough
Financially, we've found it tough compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are pricey, gas is pretty good.
Socially, it's not perfect but it works for me. Definitely worth checking out..
