How is Lady Lake for outdoor activities?

Hello, I'm retired and The unemployment rate is 2.4%, which is pretty low. Household incomes average around $47,260 in Lady Lake. Median household income is $47,260, which feels on the lower side for the area. Crime rate is something to consider -Lady Lake sits at 101.0 per 100K. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Worth the trade-offs? Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The city has invested a lot in new development. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

My experience has been mostly positive. it's been a really good experience overall. The only thing I'd watch out for is school system. Other than that, Happy to answer more specific questions..

I've been living here for 12 years and I'd say I love the pace of life here. The public transit is decent compared to other places I've lived. Overall It's not for everyone but it works for us..
