Curious what people think. Born and raised here. Household incomes average around $52,946 in Lafayette. Homes are going for about $157,600 on average. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Is this normal for Lafayette? There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.
