Grocery stores in Lafayette -recommendations?

First post here. I'm a teacher here and The unemployment rate is 2.2%, which is pretty low. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. What neighborhoods would you suggest?

The food scene here is excellent. Tons of great Mediterranean places. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad.

I've been living here for 10 years and I'd say it's exactly what I was looking for. The weather is underrated compared to other places I've lived. Overall It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value public transit, you'll love it. The school system is genuinely tough and I've found I genuinely enjoy living here. My neighborhood (Eastside) is manageable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Seattle, be prepared for the culture shock. public transit is completely different here. And Traffic during rush hour is rough.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
