Anyone else feel this way? I relocated for work and Average temperature is around 51--F, so expect cold winters. The unemployment rate is 2.2%, which is pretty low. Rent is about $1,039/month for a decent place. The weather takes some getting used to. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The city has invested a lot in new development.

Pros:

Cons:
- Limited nightlife
- Chain restaurants dominate
- Not enough green space
Anyone in a similar situation? Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The food scene here is surprisingly good.
