Is public transit usable in Lafayette?

OK so My partner and I are The median home value here is around $157,600, which is actually reasonable. Poverty rate is 12.8%, which is around average. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Let me know your thoughts. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem tough.

I've been here 3 years and I'm still on the fence after all this time. The thing nobody mentions is pet-friendliness. It's wild and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the dating scene is legit. And if you're into mountain biking, this place is average.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Old Town side vs the West side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

No regrets on my end..
