Things that make Lafayette unique

Curious what people think. I'm a nurse at the local hospital and Rent is about $1,039/month for a decent place. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

I work in healthcare here and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The job market for my field is excellent. Would recommend to anyone considering it..
