Best coffee shops in Lafayette?

OK so Homes are going for about $251,300 on average. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The suburbs are where most families end up. Let me know your thoughts. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a real estate agent who relocated here from San Diego about 8 years ago. The main reasons were work and school.

Pros I've experienced:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Strong job market in several industries
- Good airport with direct flights

Cons that are real:
- Rising rent and home prices
- Limited high-paying job options

Financially, we've found it excellent compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are manageable, gas is improving.

Socially, it's exactly what I was looking for. Happy to answer more specific questions..

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I have mixed feelings honestly. Internet is tough in most areas.
