Job hunting in LaGrange -tips?

Anyone else feel this way? Crime rate is something to consider -LaGrange sits at 404.2 per 100K. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Any advice would be great. Thanks for reading. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it's been a really good experience overall. Happy to answer more specific questions..

I've lived in The Heights for about 15 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it was the best decision I ever made. When I first moved here from Atlanta, I was surprised by traffic. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- The public transit scene is solid

The downsides:
- Nightlife is limited
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for singles. No regrets on my end..
