LaGrange housing prices -when will it stop?

So, Poverty rate is 21.7%, which is higher than I expected. It's a a smaller city city with about 31,479 people. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The suburbs are where most families end up. Am I overthinking this?

I'm a chef and I've found I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The community is decent and there's always something going on.
