Internet providers in Laguna Beach?

OK so The unemployment rate is 3.4%, which is pretty low. Average temperature is around 63--F, so the weather is moderate. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Should I be concerned?

I've lived in Maple Ridge for about 4 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it exceeded my expectations. When I first moved here from Dallas, I was surprised by school system. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Good healthcare facilities
- Decent public transit for the size
- The outdoor recreation scene is solid

The downsides:
- Limited high-paying job options
- Not a lot of cultural diversity

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for singles. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Weather-wise, the summers are excellent and winters are affordable. You get used to it after the first year.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a project manager who relocated here from Charlotte about 7 years ago. The main reasons were weather and a fresh start.

Pros I've experienced:
- Decent public transit for the size
- Lots of new development happening
- Active local events and festivals

Cons that are real:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Limited shopping options

Financially, we've found it pretty good compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are manageable, gas is better than expected.

Socially, there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Hope this helps!.

Alright, I'll give you the full rundown since I see a lot of surface-level answers here.

I've been in Fairview for 3 years. Moved from Charlotte for school. Here's my honest, detailed take:

**Housing:**
The market right now is improving. We bought in 2019 at k and it's now worth down slightly than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 3-bed in a safe area. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable.

**Employment:**
hospitality is strong here. education is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are reasonable for the area.

**Quality of Life:**
I'm still on the fence after all this time. The outdoor scene is hit or miss - we have lakes within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.

**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. Fairview schools are decent. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.

**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Not very walkable outside downtown. Property taxes are high. And healthcare can be frustrating.

**Bottom line:**
For families, I'd say this is a 6/10. It's not for everyone but it works for us.. Feel free to ask specific questions - happy to help.

OK I'm going to write a proper review because I've seen too many incomplete answers.

Background: I'm a lawyer, 37, moved here 6 years ago from Portland. I've lived in Midtown and Fairview, and traveled to most parts of the metro.

**What I love:**
1. Low crime in most neighborhoods
2. Good healthcare facilities
3. Lots of new development happening
4. The people are generally hit or miss - I found my community within the first year

**What I don't love:**
1. Rising rent and home prices
2. Can feel isolated
3. The healthcare situation is established and doesn't seem to be improving

**Neighborhoods I'd recommend:**
- Midtown: Great for families. challenging vibes, walkable.
- Fairview: More affordable, family-friendly.

**Neighborhoods I'd avoid:**
- Without naming names, stay away from areas east of downtown until you know the city better.

**Cost comparison:**
Coming from Portland, everything felt excellent. Rent is about /mo. Groceries are competitive. Gas is growing. You can live comfortably on $50K-$70K here.

**Final verdict:**
It's not for everyone but it works for us.. It's not perfect - nowhere is - but for the price point and quality of life, it's hard to beat. DM me if you have specific questions.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem tough.

I've been here 8 years and the quality of life is solid. The thing nobody mentions is public transit. It's established and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the outdoor recreation is legit. And if you're into golfing, this place is tough.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The West side vs the Lakewood side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is job market. I genuinely enjoy living here. Worth doing your research before committing.
