We moved here with our family and the quality of life is solid. Schools in Greenfield area are decent. Kids love it here.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is housing market. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Worth doing your research before committing.

I'm a marketing manager who relocated here from New York about 4 years ago. The main reasons were work and weather.
Pros I've experienced:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Active local events and festivals
- Close to major attractions
Cons that are real:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Nightlife is limited
Financially, we've found it improving compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are established, gas is challenging.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Internet is tough in most areas.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are improving, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
