Kayden Edwards moving

Just moved to Laguna Hills, any tips?

Hello, I'm a teacher here and Poverty rate is 5.9%, which is pretty low. The city has invested a lot in new development. Anyone in a similar situation? I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 3-bedroom. it's improved dramatically in recent years. Compared to Chicago it's surprisingly good.

My experience has been mostly positive. it was the best decision I ever made. The only thing I'd watch out for is weather. Other than that, No regrets on my end..

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value dating scene, you'll love it. The housing market is genuinely excellent and I've found it's improved dramatically in recent years. My neighborhood (Lakewood) is stable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Chicago, be prepared for the culture shock. safety is completely different here. And Winters are long and cold.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

I've been living here for 5 years and I'd say I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The cultural scene is decent compared to other places I've lived. Overall It's not for everyone but it works for us..
