Day-to-day life in Laguna Niguel, CA

OK so I'm a remote worker and With a population of 64,023, Laguna Niguel is a smaller city. Household incomes average around $140,605 in Laguna Niguel. Median household income is $140,605, which feels pretty solid for the area. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The food scene here is surprisingly good. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value safety, you'll love it. The safety is genuinely underrated and I've found it's exactly what I was looking for. My neighborhood (Old Town) is developing and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Dallas, be prepared for the culture shock. community vibe is completely different here. And Nightlife is limited.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

Came here for family and stayed because it's improved dramatically in recent years. The cultural scene is honestly improving and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
