Just moved to Laguna Niguel, any tips?

I grew up here but left for a while. The median home value here is around $1,123,000, which is pretty steep. Crime rate is something to consider -Laguna Niguel sits at 64.5 per 100K. Rent is about $2,819/month for a decent place. Household incomes average around $140,605 in Laguna Niguel. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Am I overthinking this? The suburbs are where most families end up. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The suburbs are where most families end up. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The weather takes some getting used to. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. I've been living here for 10 years and I'd say it exceeded my expectations. The cost of living is better than expected compared to other places I've lived. Overall Good luck with whatever you decide..

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it was the best decision I ever made. Internet is challenging in most areas.

As someone who grew up here, it exceeded my expectations. A lot has changed in the past few years though. dating scene used to be much manageable but now it's hit or miss.

I've lived in Maple Ridge for about 2 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I have mixed feelings honestly. When I first moved here from Portland, I was surprised by housing market. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Decent public transit for the size
- The pet-friendliness scene is challenging

The downsides:
- Nightlife is limited
- Not a lot of cultural diversity

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for singles. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

I've lived in Riverside for about 15 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it was the best decision I ever made. When I first moved here from Dallas, I was surprised by cost of living. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Strong job market in several industries
- The school system scene is average

The downsides:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Urban sprawl is real

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for couples. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
