Been meaning to ask this. I grew up here but left for a while. Homes are going for about $178,600 on average. Median household income is $51,175, which feels on the lower side for the area. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Appreciate any input. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The weather takes some getting used to. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.
