Not sure if this has been asked before, but My partner and I are Median household income is $153,407, which feels pretty solid for the area. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

The food scene here is underrated. Tons of great Mexican places. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it was the best decision I ever made. Hope this helps!.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a marketing manager who relocated here from Austin about 6 years ago. The main reasons were cost of living and a fresh start.
Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Decent public transit for the size
Cons that are real:
- Property taxes are high
- Dating scene is rough
Financially, we've found it solid compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are wild, gas is decent.
Socially, I genuinely enjoy living here. Would recommend to anyone considering it..
