Best and worst neighborhoods in Lake Elsinore

My family moved here when I was a kid. You can expect to pay around $1,915 for rent here. Average temperature is around 66--F, so the weather is moderate. It's a a smaller city city with about 71,516 people. The suburbs are where most families end up. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Am I wrong here? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, the quality of life is solid. No regrets on my end..

Bought a house here in 2015 and it exceeded my expectations. Property values have gone about the same since then.
