How is Lake Fenton for outdoor activities?
We're a young couple and There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. What neighborhoods would you suggest?

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a HR manager who relocated here from Phoenix about 14 years ago. The main reasons were family and school.
Pros I've experienced:
- Decent public transit for the size
- Active local events and festivals
- Diverse dining options
Cons that are real:
- Urban sprawl is real
- Homeless population growing downtown
Financially, we've found it better than expected compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are established, gas is tough.
Socially, there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Hope this helps!.
