Lake Forest vs Miami -which is better?

Alright, I grew up here but left for a while. Rent is about $2,120/month for a decent place. Median household income is $228,120, which feels pretty solid for the area. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Would love some local perspective. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want pet-friendliness, then yeah this place is great. But if walkability matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are better than expected, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
