Lake Havasu City is underrated, change my mind

Longtime lurker here, I grew up here but left for a while. It's a a smaller city city with about 58,037 people. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. What would you do?

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 12 years ago from Portland and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Meadowbrook. It's pretty good for what you get.

Jobs: The market is growing right now, especially in finance. If you're in government you might struggle.

People: Generally excellent. It took about 11 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: excellent. Tons of options if you like Asian.

Good luck with whatever you decide..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 3 years ago from San Francisco and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Pine Hills. It's challenging for what you get.

Jobs: The market is wild right now, especially in hospitality. If you're in legal you might struggle.

People: Generally solid. It took about 12 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: underrated. Tons of options if you like farm-to-table.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..
