I've been here for 15 years and The median home value here is around $296,400, which seems about average. Household incomes average around $113,491 in Lake in the Hills. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. What are your go-to spots? TIA! The food scene here is surprisingly good.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are better than expected, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
