How is Lake Jackson for outdoor activities?

Hey, Just moved here 4 months ago and Homes are going for about $248,900 on average. The weather takes some getting used to. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Let me know your thoughts.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 3-bedroom. it exceeded my expectations. Compared to Tampa it's excellent.
