Curious what people think. I'm a nurse at the local hospital and It's a a small town city with about 10,591 people. With a population of 10,591, Lake Morton-Berrydale is a small town. Poverty rate is 4.2%, which is pretty low. Median household income is $127,074, which feels pretty solid for the area. The city has invested a lot in new development. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The weather takes some getting used to. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The suburbs are where most families end up. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.
